Grant Williams is an executive functioning coach currently studying Cognitive Science at UCLA. His work focuses on a grounded, evidence-based approach to learning, behavioral change, and cognitive rehabilitation.
For two years, he collaborated with UCSD-affiliated faculty and clinical psychologists at Rady Children's Hospital to develop CogSMART-Z, an extension of the CogSMART program founded by Dr. Beth Twamley, with a focus on improving the executive functioning and social-emotional learning abilities in adolescents. He now works to implement these strategies in a one-on-one environment, taking a holistic approach rather than focusing on productivity alone: examining external factors like physical activity, diet, and sleep (in combination with daily routine and cognitive processes) to evaluate possible organizational blocks.
